Is Your Liver Damaged? 10 Symptoms Of Liver Disease
7. Jaundice
When we talk about jaundice, what we are really talking about is a build up of bilirubin in your body. Bilirubin is a yellowish compound which breaks down dead, red blood cells. Once done, your liver then filters and disposes of the bilirubin and the cycle begins again. If your body has too much of it and can’t get rid of it, the most noticeable symptom is yellowing of the skin and eyes.
Though there are a multitude of ways to contract jaundice, in the case of liver disease your liver has been compromised and can no longer remove the bilirubin from your body creating a build up.
