8. Pain During Sex

A mild or more acute pain during vaginal intercourse can be an early indicator that a tumor may be growing in or around the ovaries. The location and size of the tumor will decide where the pain is felt and how intense it is. Vaginal bleeding or spotting during sex, in combination with dull or sharp, shooting pains are indicators that cancer is growing in the reproductive system. These symptoms will often coincide with abdominal and pelvic pain as well as possible pelvic protrusions and should not be ignored.
