6. Lower Back Pain

Pain associated with the lower back can be hard to pinpoint. As we age, our bones become brittle and the spine narrows. These conditions can lead people to incorrectly diagnose themselves with arthritis of sciatica. In some cases of ovarian cancer, tumors can put pressure on the lower spine, compressing or irritating the nerves in that area of the body and this can lead to lower back pain. This pain can range from a dull sort of discomfort to a searing heat some liken to the pain felt during labor.

If this is a symptom you are experiencing and it is related to ovarian cancer, there is a good chance cancer has moved beyond the ovaries and into the pelvic area.
