When looking at the correlation between ovarian cancer and urination, there are two distinct categories which need to be addressed. The first is how often the person needs to urinate and the second is how quickly the urgency to urinate accelerates. Because the bladder is located so close to the ovaries, as cancer progresses it can create pressure, causing the sensation of needing relief more often.

Feeling the need to pee urgently but then not being able to or not being able to hold pee in on the way to the bathroom are considered some of the more common effects of ovarian cancer. If suffering these conditions for more than ten days, make sure to check with your doctor to rule out other possible causes such as a urinary tract infection.
